In Tennis – Siani Johnson won at No. 1 singles in the Otsego Invitational on Saturday, and teammate Mallory Humphrey won a three-set match over her Otsego opponent! Way to go Lady Giants!

Tennis Wins 7 out of 8

The Kalamazoo Central girls tennis team had a strong showing Thursday night winning all but one of the eight flights against Kalamazoo Hackett. To get things started, Siani Johnson won her No. 2 singles flight against Hackett’s Maddie Buday, 6-0, 7-6. At No. 3, Central’s Mallory Humphrey had another impressive showing winning hers in straight sets.

Rain Gets in the Way of Weekend Action

Over the weekend, the foul weather played spoiler to plenty of Giants sports action. The Parma Western softball invitational was shortened due to the rain. In a tournament that was supposed to give each team a minimum of two games, the Michigan storms cut action short to one-a-piece. The girls tennis team was also defeated

Tennis Results – Greater Kalamazoo Tourny
